Allerton Manor Golf Club is a popular and well-respected golfing venue in South Liverpool. Famous for its challenging 18-hole course, the club also offers a huge variety of hospitality services, from its sports bar and restaurant to its beautifully appointed function room. Website Design and Build
The client wanted a website that is easy to navigate not a simple task when they offer such a range of services. We created a bespoke website for them, using a specific colour scheme to highlight individual services and venues at the club. This made it easier for visitors to distinguish where they were on the site.
The client wanted a site that catches the eye, so we went for a visually arresting design, including lots of high-resolution images and animated elements as the user scrolls through. This included a unique full-screen navigation menu, which presents the users with lots of information when opened, as well as a course tour page with full video footage of each hole on the course.
Forms and Bookings
Allerton Manor Golf Club is already a popular venue, and we wanted to make it even more so once the site was rolled out. From a logistics standpoint, our client needed contact forms and booking facilities that would send the right information to the appropriate team, whether that’s booking a round of golf, a meal at the restaurant, a meeting with a wedding planner, or anything else.
We integrated the site with HubSpot forms to make direct contact with the club easier for visitors to the site. We also integrated both the sports bar and the restaurant with ResDiary to incorporate on-page booking widgets. Finally, to assist with various special events at the club, we integrated a ticket booking system with WooCommerce.

SEO and GoogleAds
Getting such a varied site to rank well on Google for each of its services requires some serious Search Engine Optimisation. We performed a full SEO analysis of the site and set about improving every aspect of it. From on-site content and keywords (which we’ll talk about later) to improved metadata, anchor text, internal links, and more, our SEO expert gave the site a complete overhaul to improve its authority and ranking.
The results have been impressive, with the number of users up by 80% and the number of site sessions up by 180%. All the club’s key services have seen improved visibility in search engine results, with rankings improving across 45 of their key search terms and no decreases across the board.
